About

Hey there,

Name:  Jay Elle Tee is my pen name, but feel free to call me JLT or Jay

 A common internet misconception: I’m a girl 🙂

Me as a writer: Writing is my escape route. Ever since I can remember, people had always called me the logical brain, but never the creative one. A few years ago, a dream prompted me to write a story and I’ve never turned back since. This passion of mine has given me a new perspective to life and has opened a new part of myself 🙂 Cheesy words, but all true.

I tend to dabble in a variety of genres and though my comfort zone is writing mysteries, I write contemporary fiction, romance, fantasy and adventure … oh and horror, too! I haven’t yet attempted to publish my writing, I still have a lot more practice to go, but even in my few years of experience, I felt like I’ve learnt so much that not sharing some of things I’ve picked up would seem a little selfish and thus this blog.

I love talking to other writers about writing, mine, theirs and writing in general. So please, get in contact!

My current story: Backspace

  8. If you have complete manuscripts ‘Jay’, that’s a huge step. When I’m past errands that have distracted me for quite a while, I’ll resume my first one. I’ll feel happy to exceed chapter 4 and onward.
